The Abreu Teixeira family has owned the Quinta da Bouça d’Arques over 300 years. The 7-hectare property combines tradition and modernity, featuring harmonious architecture and decor rich in detail. Each space reflects the many journeys of the owners, creating a unique atmosphere where natural beauty meets the comfort of home.

The experience is a true immersion in nature: a botanical garden surrounds the houses, while the forest to the north and the vineyard to the south offer tranquillity, perfect for a refreshing pause. Each house provides privacy, spacious interiors and exteriors, with magnificent views, inviting you to enjoy hospitality, architecture, and meticulous attention to detail.

Feel at home

Quiet, beautiful property, fresh breakfast, excellent service. Pool is lovely with views of the surrounding area. Rooms have everything you need for a family or romantic getaway. Centrally located in northern Portugal and a short drive to nearby cities.



About us

Surrounded by lush greenery and deep tranquility, Quinta da Bouça d'Arques embodies all the typical features of the solid Minho tradition: beautiful vine-covered trellises, gravel courtyards protected by centennial trees, and a sunlit house meticulously restored, bearing the Abreu Teixeira family crest for the past 300 years.
